Our small but mighty team is growing and we’re on the lookout for a contract photographer with a great eye and exceptional people skills.
The role
Whether you're an experienced photographer or just starting out, this is a great opportunity to be part of a successful team of creatives. We provide stunning content for properties all over the Waikato, with most being located in or around Cambridge and Hamilton. Once you’re fully trained you’ll be capturing photos, videos and floorplans for a wide range of properties.
What we’re looking for
We care more about who you are than what’s on your CV. Camera skills and a keen eye will help - but what really matters is attitude, communication, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Customer service experience is a big plus, as is being humble, well-presented, and open to feedback. You’ll also need:
Your own camera kit or willingness to invest in gear
A drivers licence and reliable car
To be based in or around Hamilton/Cambridge.
What we offer
You’ll be trained and mentored by our Creative Director who has over 20 years of commercial photography experience. You’ll also be backed by top-notch systems, processes, and a super talented post-production team so you can focus on the creative side.
This is a contract role with real benefits:
Flexible hours and no weekend work
No editing or post-production
No marketing or sales
A competitive hourly rate
Access to ongoing training, new techniques, and the latest tech
A positive, easygoing team of creatives who value great work.
If this sounds like it’s up your alley we’d love to hear from you! Please email emma.montrose@bwrm.co.nz with a copy of your current resume and a cover letter telling us a bit about yourself and why you’d like to work with us. If you have a portfolio, please include a link to it.
